Flying NZ is delighted to welcome competitors, officials and supporters to the 2026 Northern Region competition, this year hosted by Whenuapai Aviation Sports Club at RNZAF Base Auckland/ Whenuapai on 24 October!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
We are privileged to be hosted by the RNZAF at Base Auckland/ Whenuapai this year. This comes with some mandatory security requirements which must be complied with. Please read this below. You will need to acknowledge this on the registeration form.
Identification and insurance requirements
- All aircraft being flown in, and all occupants, must be registered
- All vehicles being driven in, and all occupants, must be registered
- All aircraft, vehicle and people registration details required by 16 October
- Copies of aircraft indemnity insurance must be provided for all aircraft being flown in (attach to this registration form)
- All people must provide/ carry photo identification
- Not on the list? No entry to Base Auckland/ Whenuapai!
Arrival and departures
- PIC of every aircraft must receive an arrivals briefing prior to 24 October
- All aircraft MUST arrive and park at NZWP by 0740 hours
- Vehicles are to arrive at the main gate at NZWP before 0740 hrs for security processing and escorting to WASC clubhouse
- Vehicle entry and exit during the day limited is 0730 hrs, 1000 hrs, 1230 hrs, 1500 hrs, 1730 hrs. Vehicles may be required to be escorted while on Base Auckland property

Wildcard numbers at National Rally will be restricted, so don't rely on Wildcard entry to get some Nationals action!

Registrations close on Saturday 10 October at 11:59pm. Thanks for your early registration.
You may register for multiple people for a lunch or the presentation dinner. If you do this, please email Rachael (execsec@flyingnz.co.nz) with the name of the additional people, so name cards can be generated for them also.
BBQ Lunches
Will be provided to officials/ judges. For everyone else, just $20.00 each (register below), or pay on the day (cash only).
Cash purchases of drinks available also.
Presentation Dinner
North Harbour Restaurant. Please register below for numbers, but pay as you go on the evening.
