ABOUT
The Tokoroa Airfield is located at Amisfield, just south of Tokoroa. It comprises a grass runway 1,120 m long by 60 m wide including a sealed landing strip 850 m long by 18 m wide. Aircraft up to 5,700 kg are permitted to use the runway. There is a single public toilet on site. Pilot training schools in the Central North Island area use the airport as a cross country and IFR training destination. There is a daily $10 landing fee payable on the South Waikato District Council website.
The airfield also accommodates the Tokoroa Street Rodders Club, South Waikato Motocross Club and Tokoroa Kart Club, New Zealand Jet Modellers Association and driver training.
