FLYING NEW ZEALAND NATIONAL AWARDS

ABOUT FLYING NEW ZEALAND AWARDS

Flying NZ offers two national awards to recognise the often unsung heroes of our movement. These are the Safety Award and the Service Award.

  1. Safety Award
    Any designed and implemented initiatives that your club has undertaken over the last year or conspicuous acts of initiative from any of your members that has avoided any incident or even an obvious threat.

  2. Service Award
    Any club’s members that have shown extraordinary service to their aero club, either in a one-off event or consistent volunteer service in an exceptional manner for years or (often) decades.

The Flying NZ awards are presented at our annual AGM and Conference. The nomination form follows.

In 2005 the RNZAC Executive re branded the RNZAC as Flying New Zealand to better reflect its commitment as an all embracing body for Sport Aviation in New Zealand.
