ABOUT
The Auckland Aero Club, soon to celebrate its centenary, is based at Ardmore Airport, and is New Zealand's oldest incorporated flying club with a history dating back to 1928 at Mangere (now the site of Auckland International Airport).
Offering complete and comprehensive individualised instruction for recreational flight training to the private pilot level, as well aerobatics (in association with the NZ Warbirds Association) and limited commercial pilot license training, the Auckland Aero Club has an unsurpassable record as a training organisation. The Auckland Aero Club is located in spacious, comfortable clubrooms with a cafe, and members’ bar available.
Friendly instructors and a great social environment and atmosphere provide the Complete Aviation Experience for members and visitors alike, with regular flying trips and competitions to keep our flying skills sharp!
