ABOUT
The Club was established in 1929 and is based at Kaitaia Airport just 7 km from Kaitaia township in the sunny Far North, giving us the distinction of being the most northern Aero Club in the nation. Two sealed runways, PAL night-land facilities, free airspace and great scenery make Kaitaia a special place to fly. Flight training from first flight to PPL. C-Cat Instructor is available most days.
Kaitaia Aero Club are currently looking to establish a Young Eagles Group and enourage more youth to fly.
The training aircraft is currently a Tecnam Golf 100. Modern well-appointed premises, office, briefing room, self-service kitchen, and social lounge. Bar facilities are open Wed and Sun evenings. Family-oriented, friendly atmosphere, and an active social scene. Prospective members and visitors are most welcome.
