The event is being held at the Sudima Christchurch Airport on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 July.

The AGM and Conference plan is:
Saturday 26 July
- Flying NZ AGM (free, limited to FNZ member Clubs)
- Instructor Safety Summit 2025 - (Free for ALL powered aircraft instructors!) Subsidy for transport available
- Awards and presentation dinner ($95 per person) - featuring guest speaker Mark Rocket from Kea Aerospace!
Sunday 27 July
- Support, Encourage, Promote & Grow 2025 Conference ($95 per person)
- How FNZ has delivered support to its Clubs
- Volunteering Canterbury (on behalf of Volunteering NZ): How to increase capability and retention of volunteers
- Chris Taylor (author of Avoiding Propeller Blades): Presentation and workshop on succession planning and values in Clubs
- CAA Practical Session: Discussion of the new investigation process, plus an interactive workshop on how CAA triages safety information and the role of the regulator
- Young Eagles in Clubs: Canterbury will present how they run the Flying NZ Young Eagles Programme (for FNZ Clubs only)
Discounted accommodation rates are through My Sudima loyalty programme.
Thanks to the generous support of NZAF, each club is eligible for a $200 subsidy towards the costs of sending your instructor/s to this event. This subsidy is open to all powered flight club instructors—including from non-Flying NZ members. For details please email execsec@flyingnz.co.nz
