ABOUT
The Taumarunui Aero Club is situated in the middle of the King Country with arguably the best long, all weather grass runway in the North Island.
A small Club with 10 members we are always well represented at both Regional and National flying competitions and in the past have had a member selected to represent New Zealand in the “Wings” team.
The Club does not own an aircraft or conduct any flight training. Facilities available include comfortable Clubrooms and a hanger both owned by the Club.
Our Club hosts the annual Tiger Club Fly-in every year the weekend before Labour Weekend and on occasions visits from other G.A. and Microlight organisations from around the North Island.
Why not come and visit, do some flying and enjoy what the Ruapehu District has to offer.
