| Taumarunui
Aero Club is situated in the centre of the King Country with arguably
the best long, all weather grass runway in the North Island. Though
a small club, (14 members) we are always well represented at both
Regional and National Competitions. Taumarunui pilots have also represented
New Zealand in the “Wings Team”. The club has a C152,
and also hangared on the airfield is a privately owned C172 and a
Bantum 22. We have a part time instructor available for flight training. Our club hosts a Tiger Moth Club fly-in every October, and we also have visits on occasions from microlights, AOPA and various Aero clubs. Why not come and spend some time at a country airfield.
