Welcome to the Southland Aero Club
Located at Invercargill Airport, the southern most Aero Club in New Zealand and within easy reach of Stewart Island and the scenic Southern Lakes district.
All of the Club’s flying activities are conducted through our operations company Southern Wings Ltd.
Southern Wings Ltd is a company established as a joint venture between the Southland Aero Club (Invercargill) and Southern Districts Aero Club (Gore) to meet the challenges of a more professional flight training environment.
We are offer a wide range of flying activities, including - Recreational Flying - Flight Training
Trial Flights - Adventure Flying - Discovery Flights (Scenic).
As part of the Southern Wings flight training programme we offer full-time commercial courses with full student loan funding available.
Our well appointed facilities allow for serious learning and a great social environment.
