Airfield was established in 1978 by a small group of enthusiasts The hangar and clubrooms completed in 2000 is an ideal venue for festivities. The Coromandel Flying Club is an approved ASL Testing Premise for all General Aviation exams. The club offers an introductory trial flight during which you will discover the excitement and exhilaration of "hands on" flight in a Tecnam Echo-S high performance Microlight. A Trial Flight is recommended to anyone who has never experienced the sensation of "hands on" flying. Club day is every 2nd Sunday from midday for BBQ lunch.
